HOLY MOSES Bassist Forced To Sit Out Upcoming Dates
July 5, 2006Bassist Robert "Ozzy" Frese of the long-running German thrashers HOLY MOSES is reportedly very ill and will be unable to perform with the band for the foreseeable future. As a result, the group — which has been forced to cancel its July 8 appearance at Italy's Badia Rocks festival — will enlist "old friend" Maurer (WARPATH, TEMPLE OF THE ABSURD) to take over the bass duties until Ozzy can return to HOLY MOSES.
HOLY MOSES' next scheduled live appearance is slated for July 14 at the Headbangers Open Air festival in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, Germany.
HOLY MOSES' latest CD, "Strength Power Will Passion", was released in the U.S. last September via Crash Music Inc. The group's tenth album was the follow-up to 2002's "Disorder of the Order", which came out through Century Media.
